I want to suggest /enable/disable hitsound or /hitsound on/off
to alarm if someone is shooting
-
Yep +1
-
This will be helpful.
-
Why not...

An alert sound other than the one which is used when we hit others could help.
-
Amazing.

You want a sound when others shoot you?
-
Maybe we should all Aimbot too, after all it's too much effort to aim when we have other bigger things to do like raging on main chat.

He means there should be a sound when we get damaged I guess..
I don't see anything wrong , you can disable it if you don't like it anyways

Good idea!

I am suggesting /ds for damage sound. It can be set on-off using /ds.

Wow bro you won't believe I was gonna make a suggestion like this xd an BTW +1

On a general side of it. You don't actually need it since your character 'flinches' and 'health bar' goes down.
Both of which are FAR better indicators of damage than off putting hitsound.
and the most common battle is Machine Gun vs Machine Gun Which means high rate of fire of receiving and hitting bullets. Which means Normal Hitsound+This = Earrape/Annoying Sound that ruins gameplay. So did you really take that into consideration before posting this?
But then it must also be taken into the consideration that it will be useful for spotting bugs, glitches and rate of fire committed by the enemy.
So yeah good idea in that perspective imo. But I think a real time damage indicator is far better than that.
-
It'll be confusing

Agree to the idea of the 'Ear rape' you think it'll be fun having 2 ding dong noises crashing around your brain in a fight? the health bar is enough and the sound of weapons attacking.
-
It's not ear rape or confusing.. they would have completely different sounds so how would it be confusing Duh.
For guys saying it's earrape you clearly haven't played on servers which have this and also you didn't hear Justin Bieber.
-
If you feel it will be annoying then there will be option of not using it. But for other players it will be a good addition in my POV.
-
+1, obviously if you don't like it you can toggle it off.

To all those who disagree with it, you guys can play with it toggled off. It will really help while sniping as game won't "always" let you hear footsteps behind you when inside the sniper scope and then you can not do much once the guy behind you damage you with deagle/spas, most of the time i don't even realize someone is shooting me while i'm sniping.

Imo perfect way to somewhat balance those annoying snipos. :>
Sniper and not using HUD & Radar is the Sniper's fault anyways.

We'll add this in a future update (for the people having concerns: it will be optional of course, you can just toggle in on if you like to use it).
