Hello EveryBody,
As the topic says, I've saw some times when a race starts and when it comes to ending point, the players who have achieved all the 3 positions i.e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd get Re-Spawned automatically but the rest of the players have still come to the last Checkpoint. I want to say that when all the 3 positions are achieved by any of the 3 players then end the race there. It's obvious that those 3 has ended the race with the least time as compared to other players behind them. This is to prevent the race to run for a longer time which is caused by a newbie by moving here and there instead of completing the race. However, this is not allowed but the newbies are not so deeply connected to the overall rules.

A timer to end the race once the third person has finished would be nice- ending it immediately would be kind of annoying.

There should be a time limit for the other racers to finish the race once the first three positions were taken

After third position, the timer gets activated and failing to complete race in time leads to dnf.
It's on GTA online too

Time limit option sounds good. Once the third position is acquired,the Timebombs in the vehicles start ticking and after one or two minutes it goes Boom.

I like the basic suggestion, but, as for me, this has more sense:
A timer to end the race once the third person has finished would be nice- ending it immediately would be kind of annoying.
Thus, the race wouldn't end spontaneously and unexpectedly for the other players. +1 anyways.

When first position ended timer should be turned on
Not when all 3
Meybe only 2 players racing 1 dropped off xd
And it would be good to put when you joinrace some message /leaverace or exit the car
Newbies dont know how to exit

And why to wait for 3rd to finish. Start timer as soon as first finishes.

Timer or -1
A player smart enough will pay attention to the track and possible faster lines, if the race ends he/she/it won't be able to and the players with experience having the advantage, not to mention sometimes it's hard to start a race to begin with due to minimum 3 player rule.

set timer on 40 sec

To give opinions on the matter i guess, some suggestions lack opinions on the matter as compared to others

It has been said that Timer will be added. So why there is still a discussion and opinions..
