ISLANDS MAP (aka "Turqoise Islands") Suggestion

I was thinking about this suggestion since I've started to make some maps for my cousin's server at 2009. Also suggested this Islands Map suggestion on Tenshi's server many times, but it was not possible those times, map decorations was not so healthy with script tech of 10 years ago. Looks like we have much more better tech support for samp maps objects now. So I'll try to get this suggestion alive with my all map decoration support. That means I'm ready to create this map from zero. Hope you guys support me as the idea gets alive!

Basic idea of Islands Map in PTP Server:

+ Islands will be based on the middle of ocean.

+ There will be like as 10 islands at total, we can make it more or less, doesn't matter.

+ ONLY boats and slow land vehicles will be placed. (No planes, no helis, no any other fast ones.)
etc...

+ Map's target is to play real TDM with Defence & Attack teams. Which makes you to do strategy.

I'll make the decos if we are good about suggestion. So is it possible to make such a map in PTP?

It's gonna be a big map, Like as 1/3 of Los Santos city area. So plans change:

-We thinking to add more vehicles instead of using only shitty ones. Not nrg, turismo or rustlers tho. Only normal cars like as Mesa, Quad bike, some slow boats, Dodo (maybe).
-Also every classes will be there same as now.
-Snipers can be available since there will be so far away distances and many places to take cover.
-Some cool places added for president's survival.
-Also some cool places to take photos and enjoy as civ class :)

It's gonna be our vacation in PTP :D

Sadly, I've reached maximum objects limit. So I had to remove some trees. I had no chance to add cargo ships, but some pirate ships added tho. I removed some little islands due to object limit. We are good still! I can't wait to play with you all in this map :) Gonna be awesome!

Wouldn't it be too easy to defend an island? If attackers are forced to come by boat, it should be pretty fast to blow them up and leave them defenceless in water. Boats are extremely easy to destroy and the explosions are huge.

And yes, snipers would need to be disabled or there would be constant issues with objects not rendering and players sniping through them.

 Add  3000HP  to boats on that map problem solved.

I'm about if is it possible to make such a map objects placed on game mode. If yes, any idea we can use in it. We can change those basic ideas ofcourse, we can set boat healths 3000 etc, whatever it makes better.

Boats to be set with more than normal health.

It's a great idea but the weapons of the classes will be better if they are like what I say

In order to make this map unique, we'd better remove Civilian class and change some weapons in the different remained classes.

Starting by removing Running Weapons.

These weapons are available in all maps from Los Santos to Las Venturas, but when we want to fight on the boats and islands, usually we'll need cover to shoot to make the fight more realistic. 

Also the size of the map should be smaller than Counties but with much more objects such as trees,rocks,hills and more.

Also there must be 2 available features fo VIPs to use as their additional weapons :
Rifle and Chainsaw.

And the weapon slots of the classes are included in:

President: Deagle and MP5

Vice President: Silenced Pistol and Normal Shotgun

Security: M4 and Spas

Terrorist: Ak47 and Spas

I use map construction program which runs without gta san andreas. It takes only game map objects and creates script file for objects coordinates on txt file. If we about to do this, your help will be useful thanks :)

No no no, I am asking that when you compile the whole edits it needs to be settled in CreateObject ( coordinate s) or frame parameters to apply them?

I know the rest you talked about, I know what you use to map  you use that samp editor which allows us to enter object IDs and place them anywhere (we can move) without opening the game.It was made by a Beta samp tester I think. It visualize gta sa map in the middle of the program.

I use it too for my server.

I hope Jonne at least replies on this topic.

Yes , as Finisher said of adding bridges , This can reduce huge boat explosions as players will take these bridges to escape or go aswell

3. Add bridges (as Finisher said) to operate to other islands with the help of other vehicles

4. If map voting is added again, then it will be perfectly suited (maybe another map levelling NSA)

5. Armor and health pickups and grenades pickup point should be added at such a point giving not a heavy advantage to any side.

6. Only 2 teams: Attackers and Defenders

Guys, some normal cars(neither too much slow nor too much fast) should also be added maybe in small numbers because with those slow wheelers it'd take so much time to end the map/reach the destination.

If you don't think it's a good idea to add rustlers for whatever reason, I'd appreciate it if you add some aerial vehicle though (dodo ain't bad as you said).

Nice, have you considered skimmer? Its slow and heavy dodo, but can fit the tropical theme nicely.

Also if you are trying to avoid aerial guns like rustler, you can Spaz/M4 driveby on the Dodo. (On skimmer you can't)

Also if you are trying to avoid aerial guns like rustler, you can Spaz/M4 driveby on the Dodo. (On skimmer you can't)

Hey Cobra, couple of suggestions if u dont mind

- Please more pirate ships
- Some kind of yachts, or cargo ships
- Hidden underwater caves
- island thick forest
- one big patch of land for president, main island, other smaller ones for terrors, civs, cops
- more natural island shapes
- I dont think the map should be that big, the travel distance should be smaller (boats)

I replied which I can do and which I can't on your quote up there bro ^

I made a big progress really, it took my days & nights to do them already. I can add those thing which I wrote "check" on your quote, but the rest is too late to start from zero again. Thanks for comment bro. Also map is not that big to fly planes tho. Only we can add some slow plane like skimmer, we will use slow cars, no nrg, turismo or bullet can be used. Only slow vehicles. Because there is a vacation map lel :D

Sadly, I've reached maximum objects limit. So I had to remove some trees. I had no chance to add cargo ships, but some pirate ships added tho. I removed some little islands due to object limit. We are good still! I can't wait to play with you all in this map :) Gonna be awesome!

A question: Which vehicles can we use for this map? Suggest vehicles for to use on ground and on sea please! (Must be slow ones)

You can circumvent the maximum object limit if you use Incognito's streamer. I'm pretty sure PTP uses that or something similar. Keep mapping if your editor allows for mapping past the 'limit'.

Also, that's a nice screenshot, can't wait to play on it.   :)

PS: Add some aircraft please.

Thanks for suggestions guys. We placed vehicles with Carg, boundaries has been set. Now waiting Jonne to add it on PTP :D
