I always want to join but can't because of family obligations! I'm sad to see this post, but happy to see COBRA is a parent -- congratulations! Someday I'll be in Türkiye to visit.
This is here why the game and the community itself dies here because everyone is now under adulthood and responsibilities that this game and its people are no more a priority which it should supposed to be. I have seen a post recently by Yomama about shifting the game to openmp kind of stuff but that will not cut it because...... WE ALL HAVE GROWN UP.. FULL STOP
I don't think regulars refusing to make the GM appealing and friendly to newbies helped either. Other servers were able to retain popularity because new blood came in, meanwhile we drove them away to the other servers with Red vs. Blue fights and overusing OP VIP privileges and didn't adapt to the changing tech with open.mp (it's not too late!). As a consequence, this uniquely glorious game mode sits in the empty servers list because no one can see how great it is unless there are 15+ people playing in a non-toxic way. Meanwhile, a healthy crew of people (including some former PTP regulars) are playing another server's shit knockoff that isn't even a focal part of its GM. We should have made sure the next generation could see the greatness and further pass it on so they'd keep the server warm for us to come back and enjoy in our advanced age.
