What am i suggesting: A command to change the tecs to mp5
Details about mi suggestion: The swat team in the good guys is with shotgun deagle an tec and m4 would be too op :/ (http://www.img.tpx.cz/uploads/swat team slovakia.jpg)In my country swat teams use mp5s instead of M4s and other long weapons. If there could be a command that will change the tecs in the swat class for mp5s ex. /mp5
How will this suggestion help the server: Idk how will this help but it could look better if the swats could have mp5s

So basically you are trying to covert SWAT into FSB? ::)
Maybe it will help players to choose a swat class and play.
but it's a 50-50 for me.

thanks for the +1 They wouldnt be too op, the securities are usually using mp5s irl and pistols such as deseart eagle or 1 9mm pistol with the m4 as backup. In swats the mp5 will affect them but they wouldnt be too op and swat kinda needs something that will make them swats.

The protecting team already is OP with M4s. It's only not so obvious because most of the cops waste their time at the armor spawn. The problem in my eyes is that M4s are too accurate at long distances. Reducing M4 skill for the cops would help with this- then they still have a formidable weapon to run up against the terrorist's combat shotgun. Security should still have max skill for M4, because they're security.

I've nixed this before, but now I'm sort of on the fence about giving SWAT MP5s- it would give people a reason to play as SWAT, I guess. MP5s are a very good DB weapon, so I think it would guide SWAT into a different role from the police, which would be cool. I think it would be worth trying (separately from the skill stuff above).

True, M4s are very powerful. I'm kinda thinking the same thing, maybe skill reduction for M4 would help the case, it won't hurt to try it at least.

Yes, but this is not real life. You have to try and keep the game in balance, otherwise it's all gone to crap. Looking at things from your perspective, Securities and SWAT should start off every round with full armor, because they have it irl - which is utter nonsense. Not to mention that it would probably be ok to you if Secs got Deagles as well lol. So yeah, if it can be balanced out, then I'm in favor of this. If it hurts the balance too much, then nope.

Regulars don't even pick swat because cop has better weapon set. To make things balance, the cops' deagles should be replaced with colts, and give swats mp5 and half armor

Giving them SMG would just make them more immobile as they would only have Walking Weapons (Deagle and Shotgun).

Either one of those suggestions sound reasonable to me, since SWAT needs a buff, but I wouldn't want to see a civilian nerf.

What am I seeing here? Two VIPs talking about nerfing the range of M4, while they have access to snipers? Do you even use M4, or just snipers all the time?

There was another suggestion about changing the SWAT weapons to police weapons, we'll try that option first.
