I was hoping that you would respond to this. I like Gas and Charly Garcia. My current choral favorite:
Tchaikovsky - Hymn of the Cherubim

Since you like B.B.:
Los Lonely Boys- Heart Won't Tell a Lie

I'm not a Newsom mega-fan, but I'm pretty sure I've seen her driving around before (California problems). Divers is OK- it's bordering on overproduced to me. About Zappa- I'm sort of surprised that Bobby Brown Goes Down hasn't been in any of the GTA soundtracks.

I think you might like these as well:
Sergei Rachmaninoff - Two Pieces for Piano, Six Hands: Romance
Kris Kristofferson - Just The Other Side

Parachute:
Damn i didn't know Tchaikovsky did choral stuff, this is really nice. Thanks for the other stuff as well
Check out some Harmonium and Аукцыон

M a k a v e l i .:
SMAK - Biska 2

Urge Overkill - Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon

Simon & Garfunkel - The Sound Of Silence

Isaac Albéniz - Leyenda (Asturias)

Pixies - Where is my mind

Nina Simone - Sinnerman

The Doors - The end .

You like your prog rock, don't you? I like both of your recommendations. Do you play an instrument?

Rush - Tom Sawyer
Yes - Long Distance Runaround
King Crimson - Three of a Perfect Pair
The Stranglers - Golden Brown
10cc - Reds In My Bed
Daryl Hall & John Oates - Is It A Star
Big Star - Thirteen
Bruckner No. 4 (the last 2 minutes are musical crack, especially if you've listened to the whole symphony first)
