Glad to see someone rep my country. As of now I think I'm the only Somali guy in this community. Wish there could be more.

if you travel to the north to Somaliland its much safer so you could get the people from Mogadishu (The Capital) to come to you. You can only get the visa from Addis Ababa in Ethiopia but apparently its fairly straight forward. Ethiopian Airlines fly there in to Hargeysa about 3 times a week. Get the Bradt guide to Ethiopia and Eritrea it explains it all clearly in there. Africa is not as bad as many people seem to think, in Somaliland you can arrange a guide/guard to escort you around they're actually classed as tourist police so they must get some people visiting!
