Title: Why is there a line on my screen... Ooh god its on fire!

Just kidding, but my laptop screen is broken. I had this problem for the past few weeks and got worse over time. Last night I was playing and every minute my screen froze with lines. Normally I was able to fix the freeze/line problem by moving my screen around, but this morning I went to my internship and I wouldn’t boot the screen up at all.

The problem is in my LCD cable that connect my screen to my laptop. I have ordered a new cable from eBay and I hope it arrives next Tuesday. In the meantime, I will be a little bit less active, because I need an external monitor to play right now, which I don’t have.

For me it is rather convenient because I have an exam next Monday and got some extra time to learn. (just kidding) This sucks and I hope the new cable will fix my problems fast. See you guys next week.

It's not broken, just only aliens can see the screen! Don't buy Alienware! Good luck.

Update: managed to get an external monitor, so I am able to play. Borrowed it from a friend of mine.

hehe yeah, didn't expect to find a solution so quick. I spoke with a friend who studies IT at university and he offered me a old external monitor from the parts department there. I can borrow it for 2 weeks so problem is solved for now. Lets hope when I replace the cable i don't need it anymore.
