Yes, it is true that you were lagging, however, that does not excuse the fact that you should start teleporting wherever you want and then blame it upon the internet. You will be unbanned in a months time, on the 9th of October, if you evade your ban, from the time of this post, your ban will be extended. Continuously evading your ban may result in you being permanently banned.
