Why not remove it? People may want to go for a time trial when nobody is around. And since we have ghost mode now there's no advantage given by racing alone for the time. The only con is one guy creating the race and racing alone but I don't think that'll be a problem because 1- There are barely that many players to race 2- Even if there are they are given enough time to join the race, or at least they can join the next one after waiting a couple of minutes. None of the races is that long
