/startrace to start race immediatly

Make /startrace to the player who created the race. when the maximum number is not reached you have to wait like one and a half minute in order for the race to start.

Why though

most of the time when someone create a race, the race players limit never get reached. So you have to wait until the race joining time is over. Thats why /startrace will solve this problem. When the players who are interested have already joined the race, the creator can start it by using that command. It would take 10-30seconds to start a race instead of 1 or 2 minutes each time.
