+1 We really need this, I'm using some HD sky, and when the time changes to night it gets darker and I can't see anything that should be added as soon as possible

Hmm... +1 if it is a simpler alternative to the client sided mods.

However, if it is going to be accepted, the current server day/night cycle should be removed; it should always be a bright, sunny day, so everyone is having the best visibility by default and can only make it worse for themselves for the sake of their own fun.
