I also want to comment, it is clear that we were not even attacking him. We were far away from the president. Karlis asked me to go to the mountain together, and my drive-by aim was not outside until it was too late anyway. He clearly attacked us without a reason. He attacked first. and it was to selfishly gain kills, not to protect the president, as his duty requires him to.
