mIRC Extra: nickalertsNickalerts are a very useful way to get notified every time your name is being said, for example when someone needs you. Here's how to enable them in mIRC.
In mIRC, hover over the Tools tab and click Adress Book. Navigate to the Highlight tab and click Add
Fill in your
exact IRC nickname and match the picture's settings. Click on "No Sound" until it lets you choose a file. If you're using Windows, navigate to C:\Windows\Media, there are some cool and short duration sounds you can use for your nickalert.
Don't forget to check the "Enable Highlight" box after you saved your highlight, or it will not work!------------------------------------------------
