I'd recommend IRCCloud. You create your very own IRCCloud account, and you can use it to log in on any device, an Android phone, iOS, PC, whatever. So you basically have the connection, nickname, configuration, everything, available on any device you want.

Also, it saves the chats while you are away so you don't miss anything (only 2 hours in the free version, though, but it's enough for me). And the Android app is really good and stable, definitely better than HoloIRC.

It is working here. Sometimes, I also get this error but it gets automatically fixed within 1 day.
