Do you really expect people to go through the hassle of recording a hacker and uploading a video? (I've done it in the past, it's a shitload of work for 1 report..) I'm all for recording and uploading evidence, but not if I can't be trusted enough to act upon what I'm seeing.

This is the exact same mentality of players due to which some cheaters never get caught. Take the initiative and report the players. If you care enough about your game-play. you should report and get them punished. Even if you contribute your little time to the server betterment,  you will get a better qualitative gameplay in return.

I refuse to put time in recording and uploading evidence of a hacker if I'm not seen as good or trustworthy enough to actively do something about it. A lot of people feel this way, since not a lot of people are bothering with recording a hacker and reporting it.

Mega no offense It's the only way to report.
Using a buffer in recorder and recording and uploading doesn't take much effort unless u have to remove some part where u do something wrong.

When I think of it, there aren't. Or if I take into consideration guys such as urself, who would fit imo, 28 hours spent online doesn't sound promising. All I am saying, it appears to me that most of the guys who got promoted, shortly after that period, went completely inactive..

I believe those applicants should have, no ban history, some decent amount of time spent in the server, decent english knowledge nuff to communicate, motivation to do some quality work and dedicate their time to help the community, in my opinion even those clanless applicants should automatically have better chances of becoming mods, so we don't face emo reactions on the forums and avoid all that bullshit that comes with it. Actually I could think of a few guys that would be suitable, but again, they aren't active, meh..

I don't think there's anyone worthy of being promoted to mod, it's the reason a lot of mods haven't got replaced yet although it's been half a year since their promotions

They seem not willing to risk chances with bad choices, what's the worst thing that could happen though? Demotion is the solution for worst case scenario (Maddy)

It's a tedious process most of the time, actually. Not all of us want to constantly make videos and upload them just to get some cheaters banned

I know that we have to solve it quickly because it disgusts how many hackers there are, but we have to be patient, Jonne will be back soon and he will make a decision to this.

I think so, there should be more mods needs to be selected in different timezones. But this is just a game and all players have some life, mods have no such a duty to join game everyday for like minimum 2 hours. But yeah you're right about picking new mods will be better and they have to be very active ones.

There are mod applications every 3 months. We've only started this system in December and we're at about 10 mods now. Mostly we promote about 3-5 people, though it can be less or even more, depending on the needs and the applications we've received.
