We won't add this, for several reasons. First of all, a lot of people are registered already, and don't have an email account tied to it, and I don't think a lot of people would if we would add the option now. Secondly, it's just a lot faster to register without an email account, and adding that to the registering process will just create another hurdle, and might deter people from registering at all.
