I didn't want to take part in this senseless argument, but since my name was mentioned and since COBRA has spoken for me, I guess I must do it.
Because Altus accepting it as that way as I can see.
My bad if my actions made you think so. Since my very first day on PTP I stood against this tainted regulars' unity. I just don't think that public arguments of the kind we see above ^ (which usually comes down to nothing more but mutual insults) can ever change anything or make anyone change his mind. I prefer to act more silently: I talk to people who start to show interest to change their playing style, or who is just opened to an adequate discussion about it. I admit I haven't managed to convince anyone but Mia fully during those... Wow, almost two years. But there was a certain amout of players who started to play more freely, less dependent from public opinion after our talks. I honestly do not feel much empathy towards most of the players, I don't care about the way they play; I just follow my own and try to encourage my friends to do so. Of course, I would like to see our community changed, and I try to do some effective moves towards it, which is expressed in talking to "adequate" players. If I don't join those fishwife-like arguments in the chat or on the Forum, you shouldn't be under a delusion about my true thoughts and intentions.
Now you guys realise the reality???
My Mia from 2017 and NO warrior Mia from 2015 are two different persons. In the beginning of our friendship we had some disputes about playing styles, about the way we should play. Eventually she shared my point of view. Now we are having fun and enjoying playing against everyone, playing the game the way it was supposed to be. Since we started to play this way, we have never regretted it - and I doubt we ever would.
I want all three of you joining different teams and fucking each others soon
Whenever we play in opposing teams, we do attack each other. I never look at nicknames fighting an enemy - be it Litteratus, Mia, Jonne or dizzy. It is right that me & (Mia | Litt) don't do it too often - mostly because even together the fights we are getting into are completely uneven at least in terms of the numbers. Although we are often trying to join the team we consider to be the weakest at the moment; if it gets too easy, we join civilians. Anyways, you know it even without my explanations.
But it doesn't matter. What are you doing is using a demagoguery pattern called
ad hominem. Instead of talking about the matter of the discussion, you apply to the personality of your opponent. If I was Fini, I would just ignore it right away, because demagoguery is useless waste of time. But if he is enjoying it (it seems so), why not?
Remember one thing we have many friends inculding the random kills we got daily, we have more fun in that way...
I doubt if I understood it correctly... But I sincerely wish that you, Niks, would never hold any public post in your country. Because basically what you're saying is called
nepotism. You don't want fair and equitable game experience to every player - but only to your friends. As I stated million times, it kills the server. I remember it was so disguisting when me and Litt joined Securities during one of the first days of our playing; we were "protecting" some regular de jure, but de facto our only goal was to defend ourselves from "peaceful", "poor" and "innocent" civilians and terrorists who ignored the President and their "friends" among securities and focused only us. Don't know why I decided to stay here after seeing it - maybe I knew that I might change it in the future.
Summarizing: the main reason style's suggestion, which seems (but only seems!) to be nice, should never be implemented is that his suggestion is just an essence of our gamemode. This so-called "event" must be played in daily basis, because it is the way the game should be played.
