Custom license plates

The 0.3c update allows license plates to be changed. I'm suggesting to add an "/lptext <text>" command, for all registered players, which changes the plate text of the car the player is driving.

just like for Cars Colours and Nitros

I don't really think that it should be available for non-VIPs. It's purely cosmetics feature and it doesn't give any advantage, but it's attractive, and the most logical thing would be adding it as another VIP capability to unobtrusively motivate people to buy it even more.

Such a suggestion hasn't been posted yet. The topic, you're referring to, is absurdly excluding a decisive part of people. I agree with YoMama that even if this addition is going to be implemented for levels 2+ only, it should be discussed with everyone. Not just with the "elite".

Since we all have already agreed that no one is going to buy a VIP (donate a server) just to be able to set his own licence plate, there's no more logical explanation for disabling this feature for level 1 players.
 

Considering that it will be implemented, every registered player should be able to set their own licence plate. Let's allow VIPs to have it set as a part of this auto /vipme command, which would change their plate every time they enter a car, while a non-VIP would have to type a command for it manually.

+1, great suggestion but there's a bit of a problem: license plates are made when the car spawns and cannot be changed with a simple command. Unless that changed in the past year or so.
