President's flower is traditional thing and means "peace" since the first PTP; 2006. Well I can't get the point of this idea? Is it just for something new? Because I think it's not really needed ingame..
I respect the Idea behind the flowers and if it's really a Traditional and Symbolic meaning and the players like it, I won't mind to be kept as it is.
Yes it's for something new and to add more fun in melee wars and some sort of melee defense without using literally one of the worst melee weapons in-game for the Lvl1 gameplay.
Well Iemme tell why it can be justified to be necessary aside from the fun aspect of the civilian side.
Simply put. A defense against Chainsaw whoring.
VIPs won't mind to use their chainsaws on a Lvl1.
Whether to simply use it in the usual DM aspect of the game or simply to statswhore at spawn. Lvl1s should have some sort of 'Decent' Defense against the VIP Melee.
Spraycan is practically useless overall because:
Movement+Attack ; which is how like 99% of Melee Combat works, favours the Chainsaw in all aspects by a wide margin.
A limited WW vs a RW.
Lagcomp favours the Chainsaw more on the receiving side.
Chainsaw sticking is EZ asf compared to handling a Spray alone.
Also the fact that Spray Triggers people more somehow.
Can only be spawned 5 times and the likelihood of it surviving 15 minutes is extremely unlikely.
Not to mention the fact it actually doesn't take the melee slot but rather the Extra item spot meaning one VIP can use both the chainsaw and the paint.
Adding the Pool Cue or Golf Club. Would give a proper chance to actually battle it out against a Chainsaw user due to it's range advantage.
In current circumstances you literally can't do nothing but run away. Now lemme give some reasons why running away isn't always the best idea.
-Most VIPs give a Chase with saw and them snipe them at CLOSE RANGE which is fucking pathetic when they have Deagles,M4s or AKs.
The Topsprees are really bait af as I literally see 50+ Sprees being done in Civilian Spawn by the VIPs using the above tactic.
-DM aspect: If a Lvl1 is actually interested to battle it out. It is noted he would dislike the chainsaw the most because he literally can't do shit against it making the whole close range Chainsaw combat virtually nonexistent.
I could see something like the pool cue getting really annoying, since it's much harder to avoid. I've always liked the President's flowers- it emphasizes the fact that the President is not a fighting class.
Pool Cue can't be moved with much either as it is a swing based weapon.
Trust me a Running Chainsaw is far much harder to avoid than a Pool Cue Attack in a 1 vs 1.
