Good Article but I feel like giving a small review on it since this done under a new staff with new direction in ideas.
Tbh I like Alex's design better.
Not saying your design is bad, it's great but it doesn't feel like the older Noviny articles.
Pros:
Refinement: This looks very clean and more organized than the last ones.
NewsLetter Heading: Good Fonting and Very Good Logo. Kudos for that.
Picture Editing: MUCH Better,it fits into the newsletter and doesn't feel like cutout and pasted from else.
Cons:
Lack of Pictures
Report Format:
The News Title: "civilians riot?..."
The heading is good. But the Appeal isn't. It's just a bigger font of the same text. No Capitalization,No Underline,No use of separate color,etc.
Assuming that this is trying to go for a more realistic approach in format than the last ones
Report starts with Date,Place: And then beginning with a capital letter.
No Paragraphs; Makes it looks smaller.
Which also gives it out a somewhat empty looking feeling which the older ones didn't possess as the entire thing was filled with content.
Alex's style was much better appealing,this one is good but looks like a govt./campaign advert (that stamp further solidifies this).
and the letter size,but not really counting that since I assume this was made to suit the phone users, So that's actually a positive.
