This game seems to be old. I kind of sense the feeling of SAMP dying out. Dont really want it to die out but seems as if it is.
I've seen SA:MP's playerbase has drastically decreased in the past.
When do you think SAMP would  completely go down to 0 players? Like some of the Call of Duty games,i've seen servers with 0 players there.
Was GTA 5 the reason for samp dying out?

No, this game is so old and that's why people no longer play it, there are also many new games PUBG,Fornite and more coming.

GTA 5 can be one reason but main reason was the players are going to different side of samp which is RP, if we see RP servers they are 150 + PB(Not talking about Russian servers) and even PTP is also having a nice PB. Players want features and where as some servers are not able to give them so they leave that server. Games like PUBG and Fortnite are also there! Half of samp playerbase is playing over there and some got addicted over there. And yes, people are busy IRL but still we cant stay that as a reason. And with that attitude, samp will surely die!

SA:MP is probably the best choice for low end gamers. I think now most of the people are moving to better PCs. That can be a reason, also new games like PUBG& Fortnite are the biggest reason.

These new games are replacing old ones which is normal. Like some multiplayer games such as PUBG.Fortnite,CS:GO,Battlefield more and more.
But SAMP is old itself but fortunately it's STILL online and working well.



But how about we have another PTP server in MTA with our players here?!
It sounds cool so that our server won't die.

MTA is also a cool Multiplayer application for GTA SA.
