I would agree if you give me some more substance in your argument.
The thing is, spawn protection gives you as many tries as you need to succeed at hitting someone with a weapon of your choice, while meanwhile your opponent can do nothing to you in response. Even if you're in what is clearly a fight, the person under spawn protection can try to land improbable hits with their most powerful weapon until they do, at which point their opponent is again at a disadvantage. Yes, spawn protection should put spawn killers at a disadvantage, but if a newly-spawned player is actively trying to kill someone, they obviously don't need spawn protection.
Spawn protection should protect people trying to get out of their spawn, not additionally protect people trying to fight people near their spawn (which adds to the chaos).
