Rough trailer is below this next section, skip the next section if you not into long reading.
The DelayYeah it has been almost a year. I would keep this short but I got my reasons, despite the long time the actual input time wasn't that much. Progress was mainly delayed because of chaotic unplanned filming during the initial phase,recorder problems,final year of school and exams,statswhores,lack of storyboard,semi depression due to chain bad events, health problems and a important RL issue to deal with. If anyone wants to know more just ask me.
But now it's all better, I have a plan on what to do, a more gamemode interested playerbase and no school to hinder me since I am out of it for good and got a stable recorder that won't hinder me whenever the goddamn windows updates and a lot more to make the production wayy faster than before.
Rough TrailerThis is just a rough trailer, hence it will look very unfinished and off, because it includes footage varying from various phases of my SAMP during the time and also useful for getting a playerbase opinion on preference.
Yeah Ok, before discussing about certain aspects of the trailer, I will go right away about the plan for the new improvised way of filming for the server machinima trailer.
The
problem with my camhack is that the area of manipulation is limited to my player model's FOV, if the action goes beyond it, everything goes LOD and invisible. So I would need to constantly need to be near them within atleast 2-3 buildings worth of distance (horizontal wise not vertical).
And also my own player vision gets fucked so I need can barely control my player model myself, and if I die, I respawn somewhere far so ye everything gets fucced up.
So for that I would need to be in a vehicle with a admin,however land vehicles are a problem. So air vehicles are best suited for these.
So for basic efficient filming I would need these:1.) Admin for permission and vehicle health refill if some newbs or statswhores shoot us like before.
2.) A good Pilot for both Heli and Planes.
3.) Maverick and Dodo for faster paced action.
4.)Playerbase to not shoot us and do some impressive action for the trailer. Basically just follow the gamemode but better. And try to balance it up if possible.
At times we might even need to film on a different Movie server, the introduction sequence was done entirely by myself (yes I was playing at those complex angles by myself) in a different server. So the players won't get interrupted just to film a spawn specific location or driving.
As for time and further planning as a team, we could essentially settle on a discord server or making a discussion post on forums itself for it. Feel free to suggest.
Preference MusicFor the Music I am keeping a Record that is IN the server and is fast paced like certain K-DST songs to match the trailer. In this case I am using "Smokin from Boston" from the K-DST track found in the server.
Feel free to suggest other tracks as long they are in the game.

Now I would personally prefer the PS2 one because that makes it look more 1992 and original and also gives me more FPS.
