Previous names.

The suggestion is simple, add a new command like /previousnames [ID] that shows a list of some of the previous names of the person. Sometimes its really hard to recognize someone with the old name that shows up in /stats.

head towards cp, search the player via name and open his player stats. then at the end you can see something you want to see. It's not a big problem tho as it will takes less than 2 minutes to check some player's cp and previous nicks.

Agree but instead of moving from the game, wouldn't it be better if you can check this in-game?

I don't think so as we have already have this VIA CP, so why scripters waste their time for scripting such a little (useless for me) thing? They got better things and issues to solve.

However implementation is flawed. And only last nickname is shown. Players easily avoid the purpose of knowing the previous name by using . or _ after their name after going clanless to avoid players knowing what clans they were in or who they were before.

The CP argument was already covered in the earlier post (however if anyone has a argument to counter it feel free to do so)

What's the point of spending time for adding this feature if it's useless?

Admins already have it, so I don't see why it should be kept only for admins, since everyone can see it from the CP.

Wasting time in scripting is better than everyone wasting time to check the player in CP. A command can be a faster/easier method for this.

There are many people who leave clans and simply add '.' or '_' just to avoid questions (I guess). Or they simply get a new name and add a new tag in two/three days and it make it impossible to recognise them.

If they implement this command is useless to everyone especially the players who doesn't care about other player previous name on their history. instead of that i will prefer user CP to check entire of your old name and the other player. -1
